Jonathon lives in Somerset on the edge of the Quantock Hills, with his wife Natasha and two children. Since returning from his polar adventures he has spent time working with children to dream big and take on incredible adventures.

In 2010 he helped train six twelve-year old boys to break the English Channel Swim record resulting in a Guinness World Record.

In 2014 he mentored Lewis Clarke from Bristol to break another Guinness World Record by becoming the youngest person to ever walk to the South Pole.

These days Jon runs a technology consultancy and speaks regularly to organisations, schools and societies about his adventures.

Sastrugi is his first book.
